Running: A Total Body Workout
Running: A Total Body Workout
It's convenient, flexible and time efficient – but most of all running works.Whatever your health and fitness goal: to burn fat fast, tone your muscles or reduce stress, running is the answer.
Running relieves stress, reduces anxiety and provides you with a positive state of mind.
Running strengthens your heart, lowers your risk of heart disease and helps you to live longer.
Running burns as many calories per minute as a good high impact exercise class.
Running reduces your overall body fat, tones your muscles and strengthens your ligaments and joints.

Exercise Excuses
Approximately £1.25 billion is spent a year on gym membership, with nine out of ten members failing to regularly attend after just six weeks. A new survey reveals the top ten excuses.
• I'm too tired
• I have work commitments
• I'll go tomorrow
• I feel too fat
• I haven't shaved my legs, bikini line, armpits
• I slept with someone from the gym/exercise class and now can't face them
• I have already partaken in strenuous activity(i.e. sex, domestic chores etc)
• I haven't eaten enough
• I have a headache
• I'm embarrassed as colleagues use the same gym.
Plus, of those who do actually go to the gym, ironically 64% drive to and from the gym missing out on a valuable opportunity to burn those extra calories.
