POWER OF THE MIND
Positive: It’s proven that positive thoughts and words makes you feel fitter and stronger whereas negative ones can make you feel weak or even ill. So adopt a fun attitude, smile and have a laugh. We enjoy life most when we’re not too serious. Always speak and think positively, even if you’re not feeling 100 per cent – as this can actually change your mood and outlook. This ‘mind gym’ workout will build your positive energy ‘muscles’ , and make your physical routine easier and more fun.
We’re four months into the new year, so it’s a good time to take stock of your progress on any goals you set in January. Has your training been rewarding or frustrating? If it’s the latter, don’t worry. It’s a common trait to beat ourselves up when things don’t go to plan. If you’ve found your gym routine ineffective or even boring, it’s time to revamp it and re-set your sights. Does the thought of T-shirts and shorts and bearing your body scare you?. Summer is just round the corner and one should find it easier to keep fit, and as the days get longer so does your daily activity. However remain focused, try to continue with your new years goals, change your workout routine, and set new dates to achieve it by. 12 weeks or 3 months will only see us in July and there is plenty you can achieve within this period of time.
